best practiceLeading the way in purchasing practice

We are all familiar with the term ‘why re-invent the wheel’. That means to say that if best practice processes and methods are available out there then IMPA will seek to find them and make them available for members.

IMPA’s newly created purchasing & supply Tool Box contains all best practice papers, recommended guides and industry data which can provide a valuable resource to your business when you are required to look at benchmarking and performance.

IMPA carries out an important survey with a view to improving the purchasing process by benchmarking Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).  The confidential survey is undertaken by IMPA on an ongoing basis and the results provided from this survey will allow companies to compare themselves with others in the sector in order to provide information that will help improve their purchase process.

This survey and the results are a starting step by the IMPA Council to evaluate purchasing performance and to provide information that will help its members to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the future.

As IMPA members, you will play an integral part in the development of such areas within purchasing practice, and at the same time, gain the benefits of the results of such industry initiatives by applying them to your business.
