The conference workshop sessions saw a radical change this year by updating the session format and increasing the number of workshops to four one hour sessions, two on each day of the conference.
These workshop sessions were also very successful, with many complimentary remarks made from the delegate audience. This year, the workshops were completely focussed on tackling key issues in the global marine industry and covered purchasing philosophy and strategy, reducing costs as well as looking at technologies, trends and the future of global marine logistics.
Each workshop session saw a record number of delegates attending and consequently saw some key issues being raised and a good debate being held between the panel members and also between the delegates themselves.
All presentations given during the four workshop sessions at the 2007 IMPA conference are now available for download from the member’s area of the impa.net website…Please note that you will only be able to access these if you are a member of IMPA.
