Henrik Steffensen, who has a BA degree, was born in 1961 and has been in the maritime industry since 1984.

From 1984 - 1989, he worked for J. Lauritzen with purchasing activities in the reefer, bulk, tank, cruise, heavylift and offshore market.

In 1989 Henrik joined Shipowners Dannebrog, where he was Purchasing Manager for 10 years. After then he re-joined J. Lauritzen as Purchasing Manager.

Henrik has been a council member of IMPA since 1998.
