Born in Newcastle, UK in 1962, Paul's career in Purchasing started in the automotive industry as a Junior Buyer, he then joined Siemens as Chief Buyer. He came into the shipping industry in 2001 as Purchasing Manager for OSG.

Following OSG's acquisitions of various companies, Paul was appointed Head of Purchasing, with responsibility for procurement for all vessels and various offices throughout the world, Athens, Houston, London, Manila, Montreal, Newcastle, Philadelphia, Singapore and Tampa.

Paul and his team are also responsible for all logistical elements of the procurement process.

Paul headed the Purchasing  Integration team for both recent OSG acquisitions,

OSG is the second largest publicly traded tanker company operating International and U.S. Flag

vessels that transport crude oil and refined petroleum product cargoes worldwide.

OSG has an operating fleet of 107 vessels and currently has 36 newbuilds on its books.

Paul joined the IMPA council in September 2007 and hopes to bring a fresh and innovate approach to Purchasing during his time on the council.
