Vegar has had a career in the Marine Industry spanning 30 years in the principal areas of Sales and Service 12 years were spent in the USA and the rest in Norway.

He has a background in electrical engineering and as a marketing economist. He started as a Service Engineer and has been promoted up through the ranks. Later, he was responsible for building Drew Marine's Sales and Service organisation in the Nordic Countries in the mid 80'. Today, Vegar is the Manager for Drew Marine's Sales and Service activities in the Nordic and BENELUX Countries.
